High-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network: The dual-band 850/1900 MHz 3G network provides up to 3.6/7.2 Mbps of download speed, making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless multimedia services, and it gives you the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services. Additionally, this phone is also compatible with 2100 MHz 3G networks found in international territories. (For use outside the United States, an AT&T international data plan is recommended.) In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.

The full-featured, premium AT&T Navigator GPS navigation application includes audible turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates and re-routing options, and 3D moving maps (additional charges applicable). Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality enables you to instantly contact any other AT&T user. PTT works across the entire network to make sure you have a clear signal so you can get things done. Easy-to-read icons let you know when members of your contact list are available, not available, or have their status set to "Do Not Disturb." You can also set your own status to let others know that you're busy. When a quick PTT call needs to be a longer discussion convert the call easily to a regular voice call--works for one-to-one calls as well as group calls. Save time on group calling by pulling up your contacts and simply "marking" those you wish to include on a call--no need to set up and save groups before calling, unless you want to.

AT&T's Video Share service enables you to send a live, one-way video stream to another compatible phone during a standard voice call. (Customers must be in an area served by the company's 3G network and have a Video Share-enabled phone.) The elegant curves of Nokia Mural make for a truly ergonomic design that's smooth and curved to fit comfortably in your hand. An array of illuminating cover colors--in choices of blue, red, green, orange, purple and pink--light up when the device is opened or closed or when you receive a call, a text or other notification on the device. You can choose between the color options for an added element of personalization, with the freedom to change the color selection according to your mood.

You can choose to turn off the colored backlighting, and the external display is hidden when not activated. When activated (such as with an incoming call), you'll see icons for battery life and signal strength, the current time, and caller ID. It's complemented by music playback keys below the display (play/pause, reverse, forward) and a dedicated PTT button is placed on the left side of the phone.

The 2-megapixel camera has an F2.4 lens that works well in low-light settings and offers up to a 1600 x 1200-pixel capture resolution for prints up to 8 x 10 inches. It also features a 4x digital zoom, white balance modes (automatic, daylight, tungsten, and fluorescent), color tone modes (normal, grayscale, sepia, and negative), and a self timer. You can also capture video clips with this phone, with the clip length dependent upon available memory (clips for sending via MMS are capped at around 30 seconds).
